The Reception
The Barrel Room boasts a minimalist decor, inviting you to infuse it with your unique style. Among walls adorned with French oak barrels, emitting a delightful aroma, and under a ceiling of twinkly fairy lights you’ll find the perfect ambiance for your wedding. Whether you prefer a seated reception for up to 60 guests with a dancefloor or a lively cocktail soirée for up to 100, this space adapts beautifully to any style.
Meanwhile, the Restaurant provides an elegant setting for large gatherings, accommodating between 60 – 180 guests. The main area adjoins a private dressing room and bathroom, this space offers versatility and tranquility and is yours to use from the start of the day to the end of your reception.
An onsite guest house completes the picture, with three elegantly appointed bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, as well as a generous lounge room and fully equipped kitchen, our guesthouse ensures a restful night’s sleep for you and your beloved.

FAQ
How many hours are included in my wedding package? How early can we arrive, and how late can we stay?
Your reception package is up to 5.5 hours, we allow up to 1 hour ceremony time in addition. We have extensions available with a fee, with conclusions as late as midnight!
Are there different prices for different days of the week?
Our per head package prices remain the same no matter the day of week or the time of year as we provide the same amazing food, wines & service. The only difference is the minimum spend, which varies from high season to off peak season and depends on the day of the week.
What time can our vendors access the venue on the day?
Most vendors won’t need more than the 2 hours allowed prior to the event starting, however we are more than happy to receive deliveries for your event the day or two prior.
Do you have a wet-weather ceremony option?
Yes, we actually have two! Our Forever Chapel can sit a maximum of 80 guests (seated only). The Barrel Room has a capacity of 150 combined seated & standing space
Is there a dedicated space for the couple and their wedding party?
Our couples’ retreat is available for use on your wedding day from 10.30am to the end of your reception and comes with cosy lounges, lots of natural light, mirrors and plenty of space for all the extra bits and pieces. The couples’ retreat also has a changing area and private bathroom.
How much is the deposit, when is it due, and is it refundable?
A $1000 deposit is required to secure your wedding date, and is refundable at the conclusion of your wedding, providing the venue is not damaged and the T&C’s are adhered to.
Do you have a list of recommended vendors we can use?
We do! We have worked alongside some of the industry’s greatest, and we always recommend the vendors who work best with the venue. We would love to welcome new vendors in, so you are most welcome to select your own.
Do you provide centrepieces or décor?
Unfortunately not. As everyone’s tastes are different we welcome our couples to incorporate their own aesthetic. We can of course suggest local suppliers, stylists, décor hire companies and florists to help your vision come to life!
Can we hire food trucks or BYO catering/beverages?
We do allow gelato carts & ice cream specialty vendors, however we do not permit any other external catering or BYO alcohol*.
Do you have any décor restrictions?
Confetti of any kind is not permitted. The venue recommends the use of dried flower petals, fresh flower petals, or bubbles. Candles for table decor must be placed inside a vase or candle holder.
Do you provide on-the-day coordination?
Our dedicated team of wedding specialists can help you plan and run your wedding ceremony and reception and can also provide advice on how to go about the formalities as well. Our wedding specialists will work closely with you to perfect your Yarra Valley Wedding.
