Here at Fergusson, we offer two unique event areas, each customisable to your preferences or needs. Both function spaces offer flexibility, allowing you to select from conventional round tables or generous feasting tables to match your preferred aesthetic. 

A sprawling lawn set amongst the vines provides the perfect setting for guests to enjoy drinks and canapes on arrival before moving into the event space for the function. Ensuring a truly memorable Yarra Valley experience from start to end.

We also offer the option to reserve the entire estate for exclusive use of the venue. Chat to our events team for further details.

Function FAQ's

You are welcome to host your event for anywhere between 3-6 hours. We have extensions available for a fee, with conclusions as late as midnight!

Our per head package prices remain the same no matter the day of week or the time of year as we provide the same amazing food, wines & service. The only difference is the minimum spend, which we require for some events, and this varies from high season to off peak season, also depending on the day of the week and time of day.

Your vendors are allowed access 1 hour prior to the event starting. If you need to have items delivered prior to this, we can receive your goods/deliveries for you.

Absolutely, provided it’s prepared in a commercial kitchen. We charge a $3.5pp cakeage fee, however our chef can cut & serve it for you.

A $500 deposit is required to secure your booking and is taken off the final bill.

Full prepayment of the event is required, with the exception of a bar tab unless it’s used to meet the minimum spend.

We do! We have worked alongside some of the industry’s greatest, and we always recommend the vendors who work best with the venue. We would love to welcome new vendors in, so you are most welcome to select your own.

Unfortunately not. As everyone’s tastes are different we welcome our couples to incorporate their own aesthetic. We can of course suggest local suppliers, stylists, décor hire companies and florists to help your vision come to life!

We do allow gelato carts & ice cream specialty vendors, however we do not permit any other external catering or BYO alcohol*.

Candles for table decor must be placed inside a vase or candle holder.
